Most people see the Rockies from a highway. You’ll see them from a seat only three people on earth will sit in today. At Iron Oak, the helicopter is yours. Your group, no shared tours, no strangers — just you, the pilot, and a view most people only ever scroll past.
It starts on the ground. Walk into Adola, our Ethiopian specialty café in the same hangar, and have your coffee while your helicopter waits on the ramp outside. Preview sites from the tour in our Flight Simulator and try your hand at flying a Robinson Heli.
When you’re ready, the Bose A20s go on, the rotor noise falls away, and the Rockies open up beneath you. Multiple GoPros capture the flight, so you’re not filming — you’re flying. The footage is yours before you drive home.

How many passengers can fly?
Up to three passengers plus the pilot. Combined passenger weight limits apply and may affect capacity. Contact us when booking and we’ll confirm your configuration in advance.

Always. Every flight is booked exclusively for your group — no shared tours, no strangers.

Every flight is piloted by Kris Zacharias, founder of Iron Oak Aviation and a 30-year aviation veteran with experience spanning airline, corporate, and medevac operations.
What's included?

What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions aren’t suitable we’ll reschedule at no penalty and contact you as early as possible.
